Urgent Care & After Care Guidelines
  • Each day, a family physician and a pediatrician or a pediatric nurse practitioner are available to treat your urgent care problems from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
    • If your child needs to be seen, just call 592-6011 and ask to speak with the Office Call pediatrician or nurse practitioner.
    • If you're an adult and need to be seen, ask to speak with the Office Call family physician
 
  • Since 1985, Clinton Medical has also been open on the weekends as a service to our patients:
 
    • On Saturday, Clinton Medical is open from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm for treatment of urgent care problems.
 
    • On Sunday, Clinton Medical has urgent care hours from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm .
 
    • The weekend hours are for walk-in patients only as the practice's telephone system does not operate on the weekends.
 
  • Clinton Medical has also extended our urgent care hours during the week. We are now open from 7:15 am to 8:30 am and from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday and from 5:00 pm to 6:45 pm, Monday through Thursday for urgent care problems. These time periods are for walk-in patients only.
 
  • A Clinton Medical physician is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.  After our regular office hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm , Monday through Friday, patients should call 592-6011 for after-hours guidance. Between the hours of 7:00 pm and 7:00 am , you will be instructed to call our toll-free nurse advice line where a trained nurse will respond to your questions. At all other times, you will be instructed to call the operator at Sampson Regional who will contact the physician on call for you.
