Clinton Medical Clinic Inc.

		Founded in 1969, the Clinton Medical Clinic, Inc. has provided primary care services to the residents of Sampson County for over 30 years. Currently, there are eight family physicians and three pediatricians associated with the group. All of the physicians are board certified in their specialty and most are accepting new patients. Two family nurse practitioners, two pediatric nurse practitioners and a physician assistant are also associated with the practice and work with the physicians to provide ongoing medical care.
		It is the overall goal of Clinton Medical to provide comprehensive primary care and diagnostic services to our patients. In addition to a suite of examination rooms for each physician, the practice has an extensive onsite laboratory, x-ray suite, ultrasound & bone densitometry suites and a diagnostic procedure room. Mobile MRI services are now also available at Clinton Medical on a weekly basis.
		Clinton Medical is currently constructing a new building located across the street from the existing facility. When completed in November 2005, this building will provide examination space for a family nurse practitioner and two of the practice’s family physicians. In addition to office space, CT imaging and nuclear cardiac imaging services will be provided at the new facility. These services will further enhance the array of diagnostic services that are available to Clinton Medical patients.
		Clinton Medical is also committed to the use of technology in improving patient care and access to medical information. In early 2003, the practice made the decision to install an “EMR” or electronic medical record system in the practice. For over two years, Clinton Medical has utilized the “EMR” to document medical care provided to our patients.
		Clinton Medical physicians currently utilize Sampson Regional Medical Center for inpatient care. Sampson Regional, an excellent community hospital, is located on Beamon Street in Clinton, less than 5 minutes from the practice.
